Job Description
Trainers are sought for all Autodesk products. In the AutoCAD space, we are looking for experts who can teach AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD for Mac, Revit, Revit Structure, Civil 3d, as well as specialists in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), Architecture, Map 3D, and Plant 3D.
This is a contract Hours or Salary opportunity ideal for self-employed, independent contracting professionals seeking to supplement their business income with fairly regular opportunities to deliver classroom based instruction. We also work with employed indivuals who have a flexible enough schedule to be able to occsionally teach a 2 to 5 day class, however.
Classes are typically 2 to 5 days long. Class times are 4:00PM to 8:00PM with break. Instructors are expected to arrive by 4:00PM and be prepared to stay up to an hour later, if necessary, to answer Student questions or assist them with any challenges. Classes are delivered during after the business work week and weeken.
Students are typically adult business professionals. Usually class fees are employer-paid.
Daily Rates
As independent contractors, trainers can set their own pay rate. Different instructors charge different rates, but typically those contractors who set their daily rate competitive with others in the industry have more training opportunities presented to them. Their are approximately Five hours of classroom delivery per day, but time must be budgeted for preparation and setup.
Qualifications

• Significant real-world experience on the products you train on.
• Great presentation skills. Toastmasters membership or experience a big plus.
• Preparation skills.
• Caring attitude
• Willingness to gain certification by Autodesk as an instructor including passing relevant certification exams and attending the Autodesk instructor training class. There is no fee to Ledet Training for this
